The entire comprehension/handwriting sheets for reading packets for Animal Folk Tales was sent home last week in the student binders.  Please pull out this material as well as any returned work so that the only thing in the front pocket of the binder is the current week's packet.  No need to turn in the questions with the answers, but please clearly label which chapter and number the answers.  I'll be returning past packets this week so please let me know by Wednesday if you want them.  A couple of quick notes:

Overall, these packets have been done very well!  Please make sure you're double checking the student's copy work for accuracy.  Also, if the answer the student gives is not correct in grammar or syntax, please orally prompt them to word it in a different manner.  The same is true if their answer is over simplified.  You might try saying, "That is correct, but can you tell me more?  Where do you see that happening in the story."  Again, it's okay to discuss the questions with the students to draw out a higher quality in answers.  Keep up the great work!
