Math-Please complete workbook lessons in entirety unless you are positive the student has mastered the concept.  Students are expected to use bar models for all addition and subtraction problems once learned.

Reading-Don't skip the important step of narrating.  Many students are struggling with this when we practice it in class.  If you're unsure about where to start or how to scaffold this process for your student, please reach out to me!

Spelling-The review portion is very important.  See the campus binder for a list of all of the cards students are expected to master for second grade (we will introduce according to the sequence of the curriculum).  Please make your own set of cards, yellow, red and blue if you did not purchase them.

Grammar-If you're not familiar with the question and answer flow or just need a refresher and you don't have the cd, please reach out to me.  I can show you very quickly how to implement it.
