*All reading packet pages for Animal Folk Tales are due Monday, Oct. 24th.
**Historical Figure Dress up Day will be Monday October 31st. Students may dress up as any figure from the Medieval time period (it's completely optional). Costumes should still follow dress code in modesty, although for obvious reasons, may deviate in color/style. Consider sending in a uniform underneath the costume or in backpacks in case they don't want to wear their costume all day :)
Math Facts-This week I'll be putting new math facts sheets in the binders. The students are doing so well that we are progressing to 50 problems in 3 minutes, still subtraction.
Knights of the Round Table- New reading packets will be sent home on Monday. The format is slightly different in that students will be answering the questions directly on the page they turn in. We are now progressing into having students copy their answers from a separate page. I would still encourage you to write out the answers they give you orally on a separate sheet and have them copy onto the page they will turn in. Please hold the students to the same standard of handwriting, grammar and spelling. There are also some multiple choice questions, mainly dealing with vocabulary. Please have students read the chapter out loud, narrate and then go back and answer the questions. I've included page numbers on where to find the answers because these chapters are longer than what we had previously been reading.
