There are several problems in this math chapter that ask students to "write the missing digits". This is a very advanced concept that few students understand how to solve at this level so I usually have them skip the problems so they don't spend a bunch of time on them and get frustrated. (See math workbook page 54 #4 as an example). If your student enjoys logic problems like that or wants a challenge, feel free to let them try to solve them. If any show up on a test, I'll instruct students to cross them out or if they want to solve, it won't count on their score since it's not an objective that is taught.
