For Minstrel in the Tower, we will take a break from answering questions and instead practice discussion. We do this frequently in class but I wanted them to practice one on one. I recommend having them narrate the chapter then using the vocabulary and discussion guide to lead your conversation. This book will have a multiple choice test at the very end but if students can answer discussion questions well, they will be fine. I don't often test on books but it's good practice for later on! Students will be completing a project with this book. Please use the template made in class (directions are on the back). The expectation is that students are working on it throughout the book (especially because they don't have any questions to write the answer to) so please make sure that their work reflects several days worth of work in neat handwriting and coloring as well as the content of their answers. Students will present in class before the Christmas break.
