Please empty out the back pocket of the Fortis Folders at least weekly!  Also, check the syllabus for which books need to come to class-a lot of students are bringing extra books which is just more for them to carry and unload/reload.

I noticed a couple of things when I was looking through Spelling/Grammar Journals so here are a few reminders:

1) Please label the step-this is how I direct the students where to turn to in the journal and it makes it difficult for them to find where to go without the step labeled.

2) Please start each new step on the left hand side of the page, using the two facing pages for your work at home and leaving the next two pages blank for school work.

3) Please have students correct spelling sentences, rather than writing in the correct spelling for them.  

4) The full definition of the phonogram should be used: for example, AY: /a/ that we may use at the end of English words.
